This interview was recorded on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Charlie Parker, Jr. Steven Graham, son of the late sculptor Robert Graham, joins Anita Dixon and Jacob Wagner for a conversation about the sculpture and its significance. Robert Graham designed the Charlie Parker Memorial – Bird Lives! Sculpture at 18th and Vine in Kansas City, Missouri.

Steven shares stories about his father and the monumental sculpture created to memorialize Charlie Parker Jr.  Interviewed by Anita Dixon and Creative City KC, Kansas City’s City of Music organization representing the UNESCO Creative City Network, with Jacob A. Wagner, Associate Professor of Urban Planning & Design.
